Sugar industry is one of Turkey's most important industrials moves. With the success of the national fight, the establishment of the sugar industry that the country needed had a major importance. Especially after the Second World War, Turkey has taken a number of steps in this industry to reduce the external dependency on sugar and also to improve the agricultural activity in this area. In this manner, Erzincan Sugar Factory has been an important organization. In this research, Erzincan Sugar Factory is discussed in the history of the sugar industry in Turkey. The machine shop and other social facilities that are established in the factory side are mentioned. It is tried to reveal the added value that the factory provides in the region and country.
