The purpose of this study is to analyse the opinions of graduate students formed as a result of their experiences during the thesis process about their thesis supervisors. The study was designed as a case study which is a qualitative research method. The sampling group of the study consisted of 10 graduate students selected by convenience sampling method. Data was gathered by 11 structured questions which were prepared by pre-interviews. The findings showed that graduate students formed both affirmative and negative opinions about their thesis supervisors according to their experiences. The principal affirmative opinions were “a good guide”, “a motivator”, “ a good communicator”, and “ a good academician”. The principal negative opinions were “not democratic”, “not a leader”, “unavailable” and “not a good guide”.
