Aromatic and medicinal plants have an important place in human history. Used directly or indirectly in many fields, aromatic and medicinal plants have recently been used in healing gardens to reduce the negative effects of modern life. Healing gardens that give people the opportunity to relax, rest and renew by using the healing effects of nature and herbs have been the subject of many studies. Healing gardens used especially in hospitals, retirement homes and rehabilitation areas have started to be used in city centers. In this study, the healing garden that can be designed in the Kanuni Campus of Karadeniz Technical University was evaluated within the scope of the users. Before the user evaluation, aromatic and medicinal plants used in the campus were determined in the study, and the nature of these uses was examined. According to the results of the examination, it has been determined that the plants determined do not have qualified use, but rather naturally exist in the area. In the remainder of the study, the use of a healing garden in the campus area was questioned in order to qualify the use of aromatic and medicinal plants and to benefit from the healing effects of these plants.
