Medicinal plants can be considered in different areas such as spices, medicine industry, beverage, perfume, soap, candy, cosmetic, toothpaste, chewing-gum, tea and essence. Nowadays, medicinal aromatic plants are included at many of thematic parks and they are interested by the humanity. However, most of these plants are not known and not used commonly in planting design. In this study, utilization of some medicinal aromatic plants in landscape architecture growing in Artvin province has been determined. In this context, totally 81 medicinal plants have been evaluated by taking into consideration according to utilization form in landscape architecture. This study aims to put forward these advantages and also present suitable medicinal and aromatic plants for design.
