This study aims to evaluate a project related with establishment of “Resource Rooms”, which is in recent years one of the practices to enrich the education of gifted children, with a participant oriented approach. Within this scope, there has been two focus group interviews conducted with the project team. Content analysis is done with the collected data. The subtitles released after the analysis process are; emergence of the project idea, the aims of the project, the application process of the project, out of plan cases and observed deficiencies, project outcomes and the ideas for further evaluation. At the end of this evaluation study it is founded that the project accomplished successfully in terms of reaching the aims of the project. First of all this project provided the increase in the awareness and the capacity of the guidance teachers and branch teachers who work in the schools as well as the household in the region where the project is carried out, about gifted children and their education. In the project, the stage of determining the target group has been carried out effectively. The resource rooms equipped and operationalized for students. On the other hand, determining the curriculum for resource room teachers and the monitoring and evaluation activities for the use of resource rooms has been identified as missing aspects of the project.
