Turkish Music has a character mainly based on the human voice and word element. The relationship of especially the lyrics written in arûz prosody in the classical works with the usûls used are based on some basic rules. This is called the arûz-usûl harmony. The arûz-usûl relationship is examined on the basis of the works belonging to the significant composers of the practical system. This examination is of great importance for better comprehension of the composition technique of the Turkish music and the creation of new works. In this study, 8 works of Dellâlzâde Ismail Efendi, who is an important part of the practical system in Turkish Classical Music, in the form of Yuruk Semâî were examined in respect of the arûz-usûl harmony and composition technique. Firstly, the arûz prosodies of the lyrics of the works in the form of Yuruk Semâî, which belonged to the composer, were determined. The placement of the determined prosodies in the usûl of Yuruk Semâî is displayed separately within the scope of note, usûl and prosody. Consequently, some data were obtained about the arûz-usûl harmony of the works of Dellâlzâde in the form of Yuruk Semâî
