Exams have an important role in the achievement of the set goals and determination of the teaching situations in the educational life. In order to be successful in the exams, it is necessary to keep the internal and external factors under control and to avoid worries. In an exam-based education system, it is of utmost importance to identify the levels of anxiety that directly affect success and to reduce anxiety. In this study, it is aimed to examine the exam anxiety levels of students in Music Department of Fine Arts High School in terms of various variables. This research is performed in descriptive and scanning model. The study was designed with a qualitative supported screening model which is one of the descriptive research methods related to quantitative data. The study group consisted of 196 students studying in the 11th and 12th grades of Hatay Bedii Sabuncu, Osmaniye Abdurrahman Keskiner, Adana Çukurova, Mersin Nevit Kodall? Fine Arts High Schools in the spring term of 2018-2019 academic year. As a result of the study, when the general average of anxiety scale is examined, it was seen that students have a medium level anxiety. It was seen that the anxiety levels of the students were equal to each other. It was found that the majority of the students participating in the study attached great importance to the university entrance exam and preferred to study in a department of music in the university. It was seen that most of the families of the students who participated in the study thought that they should definitely pass the university entrance exam. It was concluded that most of the students did not believe or were confident that they would enter the first three hundred in the university entrance exam
