The changing perception of life in the 21st century has highlighted the use of technological opportunities in education and artistic studies. The concept of digitalization has gained importance with the Internet usage reaching 60 percent of the world population and expanding the content of technological applications. Augmented Reality (AR), which is a system based on the integration of objects that do not physically exist in the environment into the environment through technology, plays a role in the concretization of the abstract part of learning. In augmented reality, it is the combination of a virtual image on a real space or object. The additional knowledge approach prepared within the scope of enriching the lifelong learning content can be conveyed with the innovations brought by technology and different techniques. Organizing educational environments through interactive applications triggers a more enjoyable learning process for teachers and students. Within the scope of this study, the function of Augmented Reality applications to provide additional information on education is considered. AR applications included in the educational process in visual presentation, theories and process design ensure multidimensional learning.
