Konya, which took place in a busy commercial activity region,has got an important feature to facilitate the transportation of the merchants. To be on the route to the South Ottoman lands from ?stanbul effected the city in a positive way because of the fact that Konya has a place on the mainway in the center of Anatolian, a lot of Ottoman sultans passed from this city while they were going for an excursion. In the first half of the 18th century. Konya was among the cities that we could call as a big city also, Mevlana celaleddin Rumi’s tomb,as an important visiting place,gives importance to the city for taking place on the excursion route on the other hand,the range deplayed on the route, guard, shelters were organized for meeting the needs of the travellers with this fact, Konya had a significant acquisition from the economic side.
