The objective of this study is to provide a review of the literature on the factors affecting credit card choice among financial consumers in Turkey. The first part of the study covers the discovery of the credit cards and the milestones in their development process throughout the world and in Turkey. The following section focuses on the determinants of credit card choice and identifies a number of factors which are grouped under price-related and non-price-related categories.
