The study area is located in Mentese Territory of Aegean Region. The subject of the study will be physical and human geography conditions which are effective in shaping street and street systems in Mu?la city. The study generally consists of two parts. In the first part, physical factors affecting road network were examined. Accordingly, slope and hydrographic conditions are the most important conditions affecting the road network. In the second part of the study, factors such as history, planning, culture and belief systems affecting the road network were discussed. While the culture and belief systems in the central areas of Mu?la have an effect on the shape and geometry of the roads, it has been observed that modern planning principles are applied in the rest of the city.
