The aim of this study is to determine the factors that affect supplier selection in restaurants. In addition to this, the identification of the main problems with suppliers can be expressed as another purpose of the research. Within the scope of the research, an area survey on restaurants was carried out. Questionnaire forms was used as data collection tool. A questionnaire forms was applied to 55 enterprises selected by convenience sampling method. Findings indicated that the most important factors in supplier selection are “Product and sales support” and “Transport-Delivery and Order Process”. However, increasing customer satisfaction is the main purpose of supplier selection policies. There are very few studies in the literature that examine the supplier selection of tourism enterprises. The number of studies dealing with the choice of suppliers in terms of food and beverage operations is also very limited. As a pioneering research, it is thought that the literature makes a meaningful contribution.
