Education is a social interaction activity. Education refers to being affected from the family at first and then from the widening social environment. The family is an institution that has continuity, but carries changes to the future and it contributes significantly to the socialization of the child. In the family system, the presence of adults plays an active role in the social and moral development of children. Spreading on effort to overcome disruptions and identifying the disruptions in family life has a supportive effect on the development of the child. A healthy family is a prerequisite for a healthy society. Family life education is of great importance for a healthy family communication. The acceleration of social change necessitated family life education. In everyday life, which is becoming more and more complex, people who are part of this life and who participate in decisions and elections need family life education. Family life education is a growing and developing area. In family life education, a process that can be defined as determining the needs of social groups and carrying out trainings for these needs is followed. Within the scope of family life trainings, every area of life, from economy to art, from education to health, takes place. Family life education refers to the evaluation of interpersonal relations, behavior patterns and lifestyles from a multifaceted perspective. Family life education is a process that focuses on empowering individuals, families and society. It is aimed to teach individuals the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for a healthy family environment with the trainings given. Family life education is not only trying to meet the needs of families in social life, but also for supporting the regular functioning of social life. When the studies carried out in Turkey for training in family life is examined, it is seen that these studies become evident since the 1980s. Family Child Education Program, Parents' School and Early Support Project are programs conducted in our country for family life education. In addition to these programs in our country, some researches at the postgraduate level also contribute to the field.
