Plants with historical-cultural value in the gardens of today's traditional houses are gradually disappearing. The aim of the research is to determine the plants with traditional characteristics in the protected traditional houses within the scope of the protected area, which have historical-cultural value, which are gradually decreasing today, to improve and maintain the existing plants in the gardens in the restoration works or to provide data for the restoration works to be carried out by identifying the traditional plants that have started to disappear or even disappeared, and to grow the same or similar plants in greenhouses if possible and bring them to the residential gardens. The study covers the analysis, which is the first and most important stage in the restoration of traditional houses. Traditional houses in the protected area of Trabzon were selected as the study area. In obtaining the data, on-site direct examination, observation, photography and survey techniques were used.
