In this study, it is aimed to present the multi dimension and multi aspect of gender and architecture interaction. The problem is investigated in order to analyse academic researches of architecture-gender section and investigating the relevance of the analysis with the point of view of architecture. The study is conducted using 115 texts completed between 1983 - 2016. As a result of text reading the studies are grouped under three titles: “Gender of Architect(ure)”, “Space and gender” and “City and gender”. Prominent titles in every group, study types and architecture point of view are emphasized. Without any doubt studies in every discipline started to emphasise gender and gender inequality. Although architecture has significant borders, it is promising that there are such studies. It is seen that gender inequality has multi-dimensional effects on the object during design process, city usage and vocational aspects. This process is advantageous for man, but for woman gender roles are defined as coherent passive, secondary, limited to personal life. With this study accumulations for this area are founded as well as vocational contribution that can be applied to reform social relations for woman and man are stated.
