The value of gifted children has become clearer in recent years. So the number of studies related to the subject is increasing. However, especially in our country, research on the subject is insufficient. On the other hand, it is important to know the characteristics of these gifted children in order to facilitate the diagnosis of the gifted children and to provide the education they need. This must be at the youngest age to support and develop the potentials of these children. In this context, it is aimed to present the characteristics of the gifted children in pre-school period and to assist the parents and educators. In addition, this study aims to draw attention to the education of gifted children in preschool period.
