After the murder of his father by the Tatarians, Temujin established the Mongol Empire in 1196 under severe living conditions and as a result of long struggles and took the title of Genghis Khan in 1206. Since Genghis Khan adopted shamanism and had unitarian belief, he behaved quite tolerantly to those who possess unitarian belief and didn’t oppress them in order to make them accept his belief. The fact that he even legalized this notion with the first two articles of the constitution in the form of “I order you to believe in a single God who created the earth and the sky, who distributes death, life, wealth and poverty at will and who absolutely administers his decrees on everything” and “Religious leaders, preachers, priests, those who are dedicated to spiritual life, muezzins, doctors and corpse washers are exempt from general services” reveals how optimistic he is to the believers.
