The small masonry domed-building located in front of the Mustafa Bey Almshouse in Havza district of Samsun, has not been given importance up till now. This building was no longer in use for years. In 2007 it was restorated together with Mustafa Bey Almshouse. During the restoration the unknown sides of the building was enlightened. Thanks to the studies on this building, new information will be added to the work on the subject of Baldachin tombs. The existence of cryptal section underneath this square planned-domed semi open baldachin tomb proves that this building cannot be any building other than a tomb. It is thought that Mustafa Bey had this building constructed as a tomb for himself just on the opposite direction of the almshouse during the construction of it. Because of the martyrdom of Mustafa Bey in Rumeli during the Varna battle and most possibly because of his burial there, the building in Havza which is thought to be the tomb of him has stood empty since then.
