The theft, arrayed between the crimes against property, has been considered a crime in all societies throughout history and imposed various penalties for this crime. Similary, the hadd was defined as a crime and imposed different penalties for this crime in Ottoman law. However, in order to implementation of the hadd penalty, it has been noted that all the elements of crime have to realize in a combination. In this context the issue of this study, within the framework of the elements of crime with examples reflected Amasya court between the years 1625-1650, the crimes brought to court, investigated and the methods performed in court.
