He wrote on a variety of subjects and Shatibi as a thinker who has a duty to correct distorted ideas and who is closely interested in the religious and social life of his time, has also included the idea of mahdism in his works. Because in the history of Andalusian thought, as in the whole history of Islam, there were mahdism movements that wanted to benefit from the society in order to achieve its political and personal goals in times of religious, social and political crisis. Imam Shat?bî's approach to the Mahdi Allegations from the point of jurisprudence (Usul al-Fiqh) and heresy bid’ah will be studied in this study.
