The general aim of this study is to reveal the level of the interaction of immigrants with the city life, whether they embrace the city and which areas of the city they use. Within this aim questionnaires with 630 citizens are undertaken in the city of Adana, of which constituted 248 citizens living in 49 neighbourhoods, 60 administrators of kinship organizations and 322 members of kinship organizations. It can be argued as a result of the questionnaires that Adana has problems in terms of urbanization and urban life and that urbanite culture can be settled by establishing a new economical system and enabling immigrants to attain a place in this new system. It is ascertained as a result of the study that the concept "urbanite" is dependent on one's perception.
