Migration refers to people moving from where they live to another place. This movement process occurs for various reasons. Migration has some effects on the origin and result centers. First of all, migration provides a new living space for the individual. The individual's emotions, thoughts and behaviors change according to the values of the new space. These changes include political behavior. The differentiation of the factors affecting the political culture and political preferences in the place of immigration affects political behavior. The individual makes a choice in the political field, as in all areas of life. Political choice is defined as voting in the narrow sense and as being in elections at every stage of politics in a broad sense. This selection process is closely related to the sustainability of both the management system and social life. Because the individual decides by whom and how to be governed by his choice in the political field. In addition, the characteristic feature of the administration affects individual and social life. The changes in the political behavior of immigrants are examined in this study. Face-to-face survey technique and judicial sampling method were applied. People who migrated from Bayburt to Istanbul were chosen as the sample. The aim of the study is to reveal the relationship between immigration and political behavior. It was determined that immigration has an effect on political behavior in the study.
