Leader-member exchange theory focuses on the relationship between the leader and members rather than traditional leadership theories. Leader-member exchange theory underlines the development of social interaction between leader and members instead of stating that leader has the same interaction with all group members. The theory emphasizes the significance of effective leadership process depending on the quality of interaction between the leader and members. Leader-member exchange reveals important outcomes in view of individuals and organizations. In this context, it’s important to investigate the effects of relationships between leader and members. The aim of the study is to point out the impact of Leader-Member Exchange on Job Satisfaction and Intention to Quit. Survey conducted on 287 teachers working in high schools in Mu?la . As a result of the research, it has been detected a positive relationship between Leader-Member Exchange and Job Satisfaction and a negative relationship between Leader-memberExchange and Intention to Quit.
