Social work is an academic discipline and an applied profession that tries to increase the social functions of individuals, families, groups and Societies, defending the basic values-honor and rights of every person, focusing on problem solving, selfimprovement and accomplishment, and aiming to improve the environmental conditions accordingly. Based on the belief that every client is against the uniqueness and the ability to change and improve his / her life, he / she strives to establish a more fair and happier world order at the macro level. Self-determination and privacy are the main ethical responsibilities and social justice is one of the main areas of struggle. One of the important principles of success in professional practice is to be able to look at the situation from the point of the client, to understand it and to take into consideration the physical, emotional, cognitive, moral and social dimensions of the development of the client before taking action for change. In this context, with its regulatory functions and power, the moral institution is an important system for social work. Moral development theory is an important theory that can be used in conjunction with basic approaches such as general approach, system approach, empowerment approach, which is frequently referred to in social work interventions, and which will help the client to better understand the situation in which he / she is present and to create the most appropriate intervention plan. Therefore, it is important to determine whether or not the problem areas of moral development in the formation of micro, mezzo and macro-level problems of the client system, and to determine which individual, family and environmental systems exist, if any, in the process of implementing a successful social work intervention.
