One of the main reasons for the rise of companies that produce advanced technology today is that entrepreneurs try to produce new technologies in innovative ways and take risks. Therefore, the most important factor in the development of a country in the information age is entrepreneurship and innovative activities. Because nowadays globalization is important for opening the international market, many entrepreneurs operate in the international market. By carrying out these activities, the competitiveness of the company and the country can be increased by developing innovation capabilities. However, entrepreneurship actually includes creativity, innovation. Innovation is the process of generating commercial income through the development of a new product, service or production method. In this case, entrepreneurship is expected to have a positive effect on innovation. Today, the survival of existing companies depends on effective management and innovative behavior. They believe that existing businesses are innovative and can maintain and thrive in their market position. Likewise, entrepreneurs who have recently entered the market must establish an effective management structure. In other words, entrepreneurship, innovation and management are intertwined and very important concepts. In this study, we sought an answer as factors affecting the innovation levels and innovation management of small and medium-sized enterprises (KOBI) operating in Kocaeli.
