Every company has intellectual capital elements such as human capital, structural capital, and customer's capital, though they are not aware of it. In some enterprises awareness of the importance of intellectual capital has arisen, but in some cases the existence of this phenomenon has not yet been discovered. One of the most important ways of ensuring the continuity of businesses and to take a step forward from their competitors in today's changing market conditions is to determine the level of intellectual capital and make the necessary investment decisions. The aim of this study is to examine some of the approaches to the concept of intellectual capital that businesses have, how it emerges and develops, its importance, its elements and its measurement.
