This research was conducted to examine the levels of father and baby interaction. The study group consisted of babies residing in the province of Mus and babies with normal development who started to walk for 12 months (± 2 weeks). Three different data collection tools were used in the study. Research father and formed by researchers to gather information about the baby and demographic information that included "Personal Information Form" is used. Denver Developmental Screening Test II was used to evaluate infant developmental characteristics. In assessing the levels of interaction of father and baby, Catherine Tamis-LeMonda, developed by Vanessa Rodriguez, Jacqueline Shannon, Bonnie Hannibal, Poonam Ahuja and Mark Spellmann in 2002 and In 2016, Father and baby affect, respons?veness and engagement scale (B-ÇDYMÖ), which was adapted to Turkish by Demir and Belgin-Aksoy, was used. In this study, one-group pre-test-posttest experimental design was used. The play program prepared by the researcher was carried out in eight sessions with one group. The meeting, which was held for the purpose of meeting before the program, was carried out in order to present various proposals at the end of the training program. Eight sessions of play training program has been implemented. Research data were analyzed using the NCSS (Number Cruncher Statistical System), 2007 (Kaysville, Utah, USA) program. As a result of the study, it was found that there was a significant difference between the development of personal-social development scores of the babies according to Denver developmental screening test (p = 0.005; p <0.01). Father and baby couple in interaction levels; according to the pre-test, there was a significant difference in the post-test scores. Thus, it was concluded that the play program performed with the father and their babies has positive effects on being sensitive and responsive and being father-baby interactions. In the light of these results, it is recommended that the training given to fathers be extended and the continuity of the trainings should be provided. In addition, it is thought that there will be more common and common interactions between the father and the babies
