The aim of this study is to investigate the attitudes of university students who are studying sports to the profession of coaching. The sample group of the study consisted of 244 students (117 females and 127 males) studying in different departments. Together with the students ‘Personal Information Form’ and Turgut et al. (2018), ‘Attitude Scale towards Coaching Profession’ was applied online. Data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U t-test with α = 0.05 significance level and Kruskal Wallis H test according to age groups and department. The results of Mann-Whitney U analysis showed that there was a significant difference in the negative attitude sub-dimension of the participants according to the gender variable and that there was no significant difference in all sub-dimensions according to the sport branch variable. Kruskal-Wallis H test results showed that there was a significant difference in the love sub-dimension of the participants according to age groups and there was a significant difference in all sub-dimensions according to the department variable. It was found that the variables of gender, age and department of university students receiving sports education were effective in their attitudes towards coaching profession.
