The main purpose of this study is to investigate classroom teachers’ thinking styles in terms of various variables. This study is based on correlational survey model. The sample consists of total of 171 (74 female, 97 male) classroom teachers who work in 13 primary schools in Kahramanmara?’s Dulkadiro?lu, Türko?lu and Oniki?ubat districts. “The Scale of Thinking Style” which was developed by Sternberg and Wagner (1992) and adapted into Turkish by Sünbül (2004) was used as data collection tool. It has been found that classroom teachers are to use respectively mostly legislative thinking style, hierarchic thinking style, and executive thinking style; but at least anarchic thinking style, conservative thinking style, and internal thinking style. In addition, significant differences were not found between the teahers’ thinking styles in terms of their ages and genders. According to the marital status variable, married teachers are to use conservative thinking style. According to the seniority variable, the teachers who have worked for 6-15 years use conservative thinking style more than the teachers who have worked for 1-5 years.
