The purpose of this study is to examine the level and direction of the relationship between internet addiction and social intelligence levels, as university students' internet addiction and social intelligence levels differ in terms of various variables. Tromso Social Intelligence Scale, Short Form of Young’s Internet Addiction Test and demographic information form were used for data collection tools in this study. The participants for this study comprised 598 university students (441 female (%73,7) and 157 male (%26,3)) from ?nönü University. Descriptive statistics, t-test, pearson correlation, one way Anova were used to statistically evaluate the data. According to research there were significant relationships between internet addiction and social intelligence, social skills and social awareness
