The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between university students God perception and personality traits. The relationship between God and human is an important issue addressed in the psychology of religion.In this context, how the individual perceives God in the world of emotion and thought and the effect of these visions on the personality traits of the individual are the basis of our study.The sample of the study consists of 400 undergraduate students at Sakarya University and Uluda? University in the spring term of 2019-2020. As data collection instruments, Personal information form, the Perception of God Scale and Neo-Five Factor Personality Inventory were applied. In addition, a question has been added about parents' attitude.What is the analysis of the findings Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis Test and Spearman correlations analysis were used. It was determined that positive God perception and extroversion, responsibility and agreeableness personality traits were positively correlated; negative God perception and nevroticism personality traits were positively related. Also in the research it was determined that individuals who grew up with authoritarian oppressive mother attitude had a higher negative perception of God.
