There are many research projects and articles on faith. We know that each of them can be discussed from different aspects. When studying imitation, the faith is dealt with and vice versa. While studying view and deduction, the necessity of both for the faith come up. This article discusses the reasons hampering the imitation in faith. In this topic, the comments of Qadi 'Abd al-Jabbar, who is considered among leading figures of Mutazilah, on imitators’ faith have been dealt with. Additionally, some comparisons have been done between his views and Nasafi’s from Maturidi School and Baqillani’s from Ash’ari School. This study includes wide explanations on Abd al-Jabbar’s rejection of imitator’s faith because of his condition of knowledge of Allah for the real faith
