The aim of this study is to discuss how Christianism has been affected by globalization and how it has globalized. Roman law, Ancient Greek philosophy and Christianism, which are the main components of Western civilization, and globalism, which has transformed the world enormously for the last two centuries, have affected each other. During this interaction process, some remarkable changes have been observed within the major divisions of Christianity, namely Catolicism, Protestantism and Orthodoxy. Whereas Vatican needed to display a positive attitude towards some values of modernity, Protestantism, whose structure is more compatible with modernity, began to spread over the world rapidly. Even if the reflections of this expansion are limited, it has given a religious character to globalization by increasing the religiosity of the individuals.
