The aim of this study is to determine land use classifications according to elevation zones of Taskopru district and its suitability. Elevation zones within district boundaries, (1000 m), are spread in the rugged terrain. The bare surfaces and sparse vegetation areas are mostly spread in the transition zones between the forest and agricultural areas. Streams and ponds in the district are important water surfaces. These areas are located mainly in the lower/middle altitude.
