The detailed results of the trip to the Irtysh are described and General geographical information is given. In the article the periods of researches of natural conditions on parts are divided: 1. XVIII century Studies.; 2. Studies of most of the XIX century.; 3. Studies of the late XIX and early XX centuries before the period of reconstruction of agriculture; 4. Modern research period. The main attention is paid to the analysis of works and research results of scientists who have made a significant contribution to the development of geographical knowledge and ideas about the landscape and geographical features of the region
