Inthisstudy it has beenaimedtoanalyzelandslidesusceptibilityanalysis of DarköprüStreamBasin. Beingone of thetributaries of Peri River, Darköprüstream is connectedtotheriver at Özlüce Dam. Lithologygenerallyconsists of volcanics in thebasin. Earthquakeshavefrequentlyoccured in thebasinlocated in thesouth of North AnatolianFaultZone(NAFZ). Slope values go over 45o on the sides of valley, depending on tectonic lines. The snowfall and its thickness are much in the basin where precipitation goes over 1000 mm. Landslideshavefrequentlyoccured in DarköprüStreamBasindue to its lithological, tectonic, geomorphological and climatic features. These landslides have caused loss of life and property. Settlements and highways have been damaged due to the landslides. In this study landslide susceptibility analysis has been done for the basin, using index method. In this analysis lithology, slope, aspect, elevation, distances to the fault lines and rivers, and vegetation parameters have been used. For susceptibility analysis, the number of pixels of parameter maps’ subclasses and these classes’ number of pixels with landslide have been determined using zonal statistics. Using these values, the weight values of subclasses of parameter maps have been determined. Weight values have been assigned to the maps, and landslide susceptibility analysis have been obtained overlaying these maps by Raster Calculator. According to the susceptibility map, in the basin very low susceptible areas to the landslide are 3%, low susceptible areas % 39, medium susceptible areas 45 %, and high susceptible areas 13%. All of the settlements in the basin are in the medium and high classes. Forthisreason, studiesto minimize theeffects of landslidesmust be performed in thebasin.
