The general state law which defines and regulates who has the sovereignty in the state, the main state organs and how they work, people’s rights and duties is called constitutional law. A number of works have been done in recent days where the future constitutional law of the country is under discussion. However, the punctuation of the new constitutional law has not been discussed so far. Writing style and punctuation of a text is crucial for its comprehension and evaluation. This study deals with writing style and punctuation properties of the current constitutional law of Turkey which was accepted in 1982. The second part of the study discussed the punctuation of the constitutional law. Punctuation points are examined in order to see under what conditions they are used in the text. In the conclusion, we provide our results and suggestions for the new text of the constitutional law.
