There certainly can’t be any future for the non-tradition. But if there ever would exist any, then, it must be new, originallybased and solely built on tradition.The second new poets in general, reached the towering heights of their own accomplishments by undergoing through various influences. Clearly, it could also be seen from the point of Ülkü Tamer's poems that he is of that contemporary time and as such, was positioned directly within the second new. Despite this obvious trait of his, however, Ülkü Tamer's first poem was not included in the collection of poetry books captioned: “Luc?a From A Corner Of The World” even though his poems also carry traces and traits of the poets in that collection. However, this undue influence does not last long and the artist builds his own unique form of poetry. From his own language and point of view, the artist herein, re-echoes in his poems some of the factors and influences that are formed and having to see these traces in the artist's poetry life is extremely very useful and necessary in order to understand the way and manner the artists view things later.In all these circumstances as a result, he became a young poet who was able to publish his first book of poetry at the age of 22. At a very young age of just 17 years, Ülkü Tamer's first poem which was published in the Kaynak (Source) magazine at the time, was to present to his readers Lucia, from a corner of the world and to show his first steps in poetry adventure. The aim of this study therefore, is to present to readers and show them the very first steps in the poetry adventure of the artist with this poem
