In addition to the traditional methods of modern literary theory in order to understand better today Divan poetry began to be used. The results are sometimes not acceptable neither restrained if applied in a way that is obvious of Divan poetry would be beneficial in terms of our recognition of the different aspects. Between the years 1915-1930 a coming together of literary theory put forward by the authors in Poetry Language Research Association in Russia, Russian Formalism, this is just one of the modern analysis techniques. Reasons for the emergence of Russian Formalism In the first part of the study and then telling these views in the light of views on poetry, poetry in general will be taken into court. In the last part of the famous Bâkî "saf saf" redif of ghazal is to be examined in terms of formal qualifications applicability of this theory to our traditional poetry will be displayed.
