MECE, published in 112 issues between March 1961 and October 1970, is a long-running, multifaceted culture and arts magazine that tries to keep the tradition of Village Institutes up to date by focusing on village and peasant problems. In the articles published in the magazine on various occasions; there are memories, determinations and various comments about Hasan Âli Yücel, ?smail Hakk? Tonguç and Village Institutes, the founding philosphy of the institutes is considered as a solution for the development of the village and the villagers. However, the agenda and content of the magazine does not only consist of Village Institutes. Articles in the magazine on various themes such as childeren, economy, education and teacher problems, women, social problems and land and land reform help to obtain a detailed perspective about Turkesy’s 1960s. In this article which focuses on ?MECE, which gain value with the contributions of important intellectuals, the magazine’s articles on society between 1965-1970 are determined and complied. In this way, both the formal features of the magazine are determined and the bibliographic identification of the articles focusing on social issues is created. Thus, it has tried to systematization of researchers’ access to the source of the period and to provide an opinion to reach an opinion about Turkey’s 1960s. In other words, it is aimed to make a collective bibliographic contribution to the studies that will evaluate the way social, cultural and political developments that took place in the 1960s are handled in ?MECE magazine
