Media are digital and electronic devices that transfer information such as newspapers, magazines, books, radio, TV, internet that transmit and contain information, and all kinds of print media. As the name suggests, media literacy is the ability to extract visual and verbal symbols from TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, computers and advertisements that we encounter in our daily lives. The most important reason for providing media literacy education is that media literacy is important for coaches as well as for all people in order to understand and interpret the world we live in. This research is a descriptive survey model. The universe of the research consists of 235 elite level trainers in Ankara. The data were collected using a personal information form developed by the researchers, and the "Media Literacy Level Determination Scale" developed by Karaman and Karata? (2009), adapted to elite trainers in Ankara. The data obtained were analyzed with SPSS 24 program. The personal information of the trainers participating in the study and the scores they got from the scale were analyzed with frequency, percentage and arithmetic average. The Cronbach Alpha coefficient of the scale was examined. One Way ANOVA was used to determine the differences between the t-test and group averages in the study. Tukey test was applied to find the group that made the difference. According to the result, a significant relationship was found between internet use and duration of use and media literacy on a factor basis, although there was no significant relationship between some sub-dimensions and media literacy. As a result, we can say that the media literacy levels of the trainers are high.
