Mukaata System -where the individual or the district paid certain amount of taxes in return for fiscal autonomy- was used by Ottoman Empire to array, control and maintain a flow of income for the treasury. This system was extended to Balkans too. This study covers the transcriptions of the pages from 231b to 241 of 176 numbered register book relating to Alacahisar from the series of Maliyeden Mudevver Defterler (MAD) from Prime Minister's Ottoman Archieves. The study firstly presents the evaluation of the aforementioned pages and then the transcriptions.
