On the basis of the data of the European Social Survey, this article analyzes in a sociological manner to what extent the European societies have multiculturalistic attitude. Multi-culturalism refers to a positive attitude towards the diversity in the society. The European societies started to show more of a negative attitude towards the new multicultural society which is a consequence of migration and immigrantional issues. This article tries to find which types of diversity are rejected and which factors lay on the basis of this negative attitude in the European societies.
