After the Mondros Armistice, the Ottoman territories were occupied by the Entente States. Greece then occupied Izmir 15 May 1919 under the guarantee of the Entente States. As a result of these occupations, the National Movement emerged in Eastern and Western Anatolia under the leadership of the people. The National Movement wanted to block these occupations by the military activities carried out by the associations and associations established both locally and regionally. The main aim of this movement is to defend the Turkish lands against the invaders and to ensure the independence of the Turkish nation. In this context, it has been the subject of the agenda in Alemdâr newspaper in National Movement. Although this newspaper seems to support the National Movement, it has made publications and activities to wear down the National Movement. In this study, the emergence of the Movement National Movement and the National Movement (National Movement) in the period of the Independence War will be examined how this newspaper handles and evaluates it.
