In the content of this study, the subject of “Multiple Intelligences” by Howard Gardner that brings a new perspective on the concept of intelligence/s is discussed. Thus, the primary emphasis is on the human brain. After approaching the intelligence concept, the basis of intelligence is taken into consideration and the historical development of the intelligence theories is investigated according to the transformation from the singular intelligence to multiple intelligences. This study explains the types of multiple intelligences by providing examples and outcomes within the scope of the investigation on the multiple intelligence principles.
