The aim of the study is to examine the opinions of music teachers working in special education schools about special education music lesson. For this purpose, the teachers in question; Their views on the special education curriculum, the special education textbook, the special education music lesson hours, the physical conditions of the school they work in, the music classroom in the school, the tools and equipment in the classroom where they teach music lessons were determined.
The research is a descriptive field study in the scanning model. The study group of the research was determined by random method in the province of Samsun in the 2019-2020 academic year Muzaffer Tahmaz, Canik, Çar?amba Municipality, Alt?nkum, Bafra, Fahriye Kemal K?z?lot inculuding six II. in special education school; 50th anniversary, Samsun Canik Fatih, Ertu?rulgazi, ?ehit Mete Yah?i Mehmetçik there are five special education classes including consists of 11 music teachers working in secondary school.
The data of the study were collected with a semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers by taking expert opinions. In line with the research findings, it was concluded that the teachers in the study group found the curriculum sufficient, the textbooks insufficient, the music lesson hours insufficient, the physical conditions inadequate, the classroom inadequate, the equipment inadequate.
