In this paper, the boat transport on the Çoruh River, which passes through the territories of Erzurum, Bayburt, Artvin and Batum cities and falls into Black Sea in Autonomous Republic of Adjara, will be discussed. Çoruh River, one of the fastest and deepest rivers and with a length of 466km emerging in our country and ending in abroad, emerges from the Mescit Da?lar? (Masjid Mountain) at a height of 3239m belongs to Erzurum and by including streams, water and creeks makes an entry in the Village of Artvin Yusufeli province and leaves our country ?n Muratl? Village, which is connected to Borçka. With the investigation started in 1950s and applied in 1999 and still ongoing Çoruh Basin Dam and HES Project a new shape will be given to the river.
