At every era, humanity faced natural disasters like drought generally followed by famine. Drought and famine was also present inside the Ottoman Empire in various regions and different times. Research shows that drought and famine occurrences were reported around Erzurum province. Among these, two important incidents between the years 1892-1893, and 1906-1908 is the focus of our investigation.
