Kemalettin Sami Pasha (1884-1934), one of from the commanders of the War of Independence is a valuable patriot who served as a diplomat, a deputy and the President of the National Olympic Committee. He has shown significant success in all wars which in Turkish armies have joined. His right arm was one-handed in the Balkan War. Altough he was like that, he has fought devotedly on various fronts of the First World War and was injured from points During the War of Independence, he also fought with great assertiveness and got injured. He had been in Istanbul as the Commander of 10 Caucasus Fika during the Istanbul occupation on March 16 and went to Anatolia to be among those who saved the country to avenge that pain. After the War of Independence was over, he was elected to the Grand National Assembly as a Deputy of Sinop in 1923 and then he was sent to the Berlin Embassy. He has started working in Germany in 1924 as Berlin Ambassador. Pasha has undertaken an important role in Turkish-German diplomatic, political, economic and cultural relations. Kemalettin Sami Pasha has had meetings with many important names such as German Chancellor Hitler, German President Hindenburg and Albert Einstein during his duty as the Embassy of Berlin. In 1932, he suffered a major automobile accident in Germany and was injured in the head. Less than two years later, he died as a result of an operation on his stomach, and his body was sent to Istanbul with a state ceremony upon the special request of Hitler. He was buried at the 16 March Martyrdom in Istanbul with a state ceremony
