Poverty is one of the issues that negatively affect countries socially and economically. Poverty is a phenomenon being fought on a global scale. The severity of poverty varies according to the country's level of development. Poverty is more observed intense in low and middle income countries. Low national income, economic instability, high income injustice, low education level and living in unhealthy conditions are located among the main reasons for increasing poverty. Situated in the World Bank list of middle income group, 13 countries's including Turkey (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uruguay), are discussed data covering the years 2010-2018. This study examines the relationship between poverty and some of the factors affecting poverty through the data of 13 countries. As a result of the analysis, it is seen that poverty decreases as the gross domestic product, gross domestic saving rate, total public health expenditures and total public education expenditures increase in selected middle income countries. As a result of the increase in the Gini coefficient, it was determined that poverty increased.
